CBT has been shown to be effective across the range of anxiety problems (Social Anxiety, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder or Attacks, Post Traumatic Stress, OCD, phobias), depression, past trauma, low-self esteem, addictions, Seasonal Affective Disorder, weight issues, grief, anger and relationship problems among others.
CBT can help us learn new ways to understand, and think about, ourselves and others, which in turn can help us feel and act differently, equipping us with well researched tools to help tackle life’s problems even long after therapy has ended.
CBT tends to be briefer and more time-limited than other talking therapies, but can be longer term when desired and necessary.
I work with adults – from young adults, of 16 and over, to the oldest. For Secure Video calls, from 18 and over.
Sessions can be arranged in Milngavie or Online, where you are.
Daytime or evening appointments can be arranged.
Online secure sessions by Video Call or Voice Only Call can be to any region or some other countries (for example via Vsee rather than Skype as it is more secure - it is also free to download and use) . Online sessions can help overcome some of the obstacles to accessing therapy, as sessions can be arranged at a really convenient time, with no restriction due to mobility, transport or parking. For clients caring for others, it can also make sessions more feasible.

Post Abortion Counselling - for anyone affected by a past abortion experience, whether the mother, father, sister, brother, grandparent or healthcare staff.
The initial session, lasting 30 minutes, is free of charge or obligation and allows us both to assess if CBT could be helpful and appropriate, while also giving you the chance to see if you feel sufficiently at ease with me.
Thereafter, sessions last 50 minutes and are £39, or £30 for online secure video calls.
If a 90 minute session is required and agreed the fee is £59, or £45 for online.
The number of sessions is collaboratively agreed and reviewed without any financial commitment to a certain number.
I am a member of ACC and bound by their professional Code of Ethics. I also have a current PVG from Disclosure Scotland.
