About me and my therapy practice.
I have 16 years experience as a Counsellor in a variety of settings, which include, G.P surgeries, Student counsellor, Community mental health team, Cruse Bereavement Organisation, Private counselling and Employee Assistance Programmes within organisations.
I am located 3 miles from Banbury in the village of Adderbury. There is a mainline train station in Banbury and a bus station nearby. This has regular buses to Adderbury- bus number S4.
Training, qualifications & experience
Accredited Counsellor 2012; Certificate in Mindfullness based Cognitive Therapy 2012: Diploma in Integrative Counselling, NCFE, 2000; Certificate in Counselling Skills, RSA, 1996; Certificate in Cruse Bereavement Care, 1997; BA Hons Psychology, Open University, 1995.
I undertake a minimum of 30 hours Continuing Professional Development annually.
I also have 10 years experience as a district nurse, and have worked as a lecturer in counselling and in university research.
