By entering onto this site you have made the first step towards receiving help and support with whatever problems you may have, this step has taken a lot of courage. My part in your therapy is to help you to explore whatever life problems you may be facing at this time and to further gain insight into your thoughts, feelings and behaviours in order to bring about clarity in your life.
I am an integrative counsellor with over 18 years full time employment experience within the NHS as a Senior Counsellor and Supervisor and private practice. I offer a safe, confidential, non-judgemental counselling service. I have extensive experience with clients experiencing a range of difficulties and considerable experience in private practice and with Employee Assistance Programmes.
Integrative counselling means I am able to provide a range of proven therapies and offer both short term and long term counselling. Should longer term work be appropriate this would be discussed and agreed together during the initial session.
I am an accredited and registered member of the BACP and work within their ethical guidelines, I also receive on-going supervision. I am committed to continuous professional development and attend courses and workshops to further extend my knowledge base.
