My practice is conveniently located in the relaxing setting of Winckley Square in Preston City Centre. I divide my time between volunteering for an adult mental health charity, my private practice and delivering mental health and well-being services for schools and colleges.
I provide a discreet, confidential space where you are assured of a warm, friendly welcome in comfortable surroundings. I will work alongside you and help you beat stress and anxiety. I have considerable experience in offering counselling to both adults and children.
I believe each individual has the capacity to find their own solutions and I will work alongside you to help you explore life issues in a non-judgemental environment.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified Health Care Professional, Counsellor and teacher. My experience spans over 35 years in health care and includes work in many hospitals in the North West Region. I also have several years experience in an education setting.
I have divided my career between working therapeutically with adults and children and thus my practice integrates a number of therapeutic models.
In addition to my private practice I Volunteer for an adult mental health charity and currently work in schools and colleges delivering mental health and well-being services for pupils and staff.
I have numerous areas of speciality that include self-esteem and confidence building, working with individuals to beat anxiety and depression, working with anyone who has experienced sexual, emotional and physical abuse, bereavement and loss, self-harm and eating disorders. I help people build better relationships and also help families find a way forward through difficulties. I have Expertise in delivering anger management programmes, emotional intelligence training and providing emotional support for anyone experiencing distress.
