Christine Fortune M.Sc.(Int.Psych), UKCP accred. BACP reg.
33 Central Chambers
I am an experienced, approachable psychotherapist and counsellor based in comfortable, accessible premises in the heart of Ealing.
If you are feeling depressed, anxious, stressed, have worries, are experiencing a difficult time in your relationships, have concerns about your well being or mental health, or simply want to have a better understanding of yourself, I offer a confidential, safe, non-judgemental space where together we can address your needs.
Please contact me by email, text or phone if you would like to discuss your concerns.
I am registered as a provider of counselling and psychotherapy with Bupa, Cigna and Aviva.
I have successfully worked with people of all ages and from many walks of life and backgrounds. The concerns they have brought include anxiety depression, panic attacks, bi-polar disorder, post-natal depression, stress, relationship issues, trauma, abuse, separation and divorce, betrayal and affairs, anger, OCD, low self esteem and lack of confidence, concerns from painful memories from the past, current difficult situations and general feelings of unease. I have considerable experience of working with adolescents and young people.
My approach is Integrative, Humanistic and Person-Centred, based on working collaboratively and in partnership with my client in order to meet their unique needs. I see the relationship between myself and my client as instrumental for a successful outcome.
Prior to becoming a psychotherapist I worked for many years in the field of education, as a teacher, manager and more recently as an SEN consultant. During this period I also qualified as an educational psychologist. This background has given me an understanding of the impact of early experiences on development but also a strong belief in human resilience and the ability to change.
In addition to my private practice I have worked in a variety of different settings including charitable organisations, the psychotherapy department of a London teaching hospital, services for young people and adolescents and in secondary and special schools. I also have experience of working within a Mental Health Service.
I am based in a central location in Ealing, opposite Ealing Broadway Station, and very close to mainline, underground and bus links. Public car parking is close by. In addition to Ealing, the location is accessible for many areas including Acton, Hounslow, Shepherd's Bush, Chiswick, Southall, Ruislip, Hammersmith, Richmond, Greenford, Hanwell and Brentford.
I offer evening and day time appointments, including Saturdays.
Please contact me by email, text or phonei f you would like further information and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
I am registered with Bupa, Cigna and Aviva as a provider of counselling and psychotherapy.
I abide by the UKCP Code of Ethics and have an up to date DBS ( previously CRB) check.
