I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with years of experiencing working in NHS and the private sector practice.
As a BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist I provide a psychotherapy service to clients and also offer Equine facilitated therapy, which is using horses in therapy sessions to facilitate emotional processing and practice skills in managing symptoms.
I recognise that therapy needs to be tailored made to suit the client. People needs vary and therefore therapy needs to accommodate this. Some people wish a direct approach and their symptoms are suited to CBT face to face therapy, other prefer a more indirect approach or skill training development and learning.
My goal is provide evidence based psychotherapy treatment, like CBT, and develop this to meet the needs of the individual. I believe in working collaborative with people to understand their symptoms in order to achieve their goals.
