I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and have worked within the field of mental health for over 14 years.
Therapy is a way of making sense of your world and how you function within it. Sessions allow time for reflection, and the possibility of making changes. This can allow the opportunity of moving forwards in a healthier, more informed direction.
Sessions are usually once a week and last 50 minutes. The main focus being your presenting problems and the relationship between yourself and meaningful others in your past and present.
Time limited therapy usually lasts between four and twenty six sessions.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am qualified in Short-Term Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
I work one-to-one with adults from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. This includes those who have experienced depression, anxiety, loss, anger and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).
