About me

I appreciate that seeking and finding the right counsellor may not be easy, and indeed may be a daunting task.

As a qualified counsellor and registered member of both The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and The Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC), I provide a highly professional counselling service. My aim is to provide an affordable, compassionate and confidential service to you, whatever your reason for obtaining counselling. You will be supported and valued to explore your presenting issues, and at your own pace.

I use and incorporate therapeutic approaches unique and individual to you and your circumstance. You will have undistracted time and attention and I will offer you a non-judgemental and empathic environment to talk, explore and consider, in order to facilitate your desired changes. You will be honoured, esteemed and respected for who you are.

I look forward to our meeting

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Diploma of Higher Education in Therapeutic Counselling. My experience is in working with adults and adolescents in dealing with anger, anxiety, bullying, bereavement and relationships, among others. I also work with those who want to make changes to how they deal with issues emotionally and behaviourally (Personal Development).

I have experience in working in Further Education (FE) setting and in general counselling, working alongside people who need support, those who are grieving and those wanting a compassionate and attentive ear to be listened to. I attend on-going personal & professional development program (CPD) and regular clinical supervision for the benefit of my practice and my clients.
