About me
Not taking new clients currently
I am an integrative Counsellor who incorporates person-centred, early developmental approaches with elements of Therapeutic Play, CBT, Compassion Focused Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. I am also a trained EMDR Therapist.
I have experience of working with clients who have suffered from any kind of loss in their life such as relationship break down or a bereavement, as well as supporting people to learn to manage and cope with anxiety issues as well as low mood.
I work with clients from the age of 7 years old upwards and I adapt my way of working to suit your needs to ensure your comfort and wellbeing.
My practice is based in the North of Peterborough and I approach my work in the belief that with the right environment and conditions that you have an innate ability towards your own growth and fulfilment and that together we are able to work through anything that may be holding you back in life, whilst incorporating proven theories and skills to assist you on your healing path.
When you make contact with me you can expect a warm and sensitive response with an invitation to make an initial appointment for an assessment to discuss your ongoing needs and the next steps. I do require 24 hours notice of any cancellation of appointment where possible.
I can be contacted on 07570 803691 - please leave a text or voice message and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
