CC Counselling Services
13b Rustlings Road
Life can be extremely challenging at times and I know from experience that having someone who is accepting, empathic and non-judgemental to listen to you is an invaluable source of support. The thought of revealing our inner fears to another person can be very scary, however, if you take that first step I aim to provide a safe and relaxing space where you can explore the issues that are troubling you.
I am trained in an integrative model of counselling, which means I am able to combine different elements of theory to offer counselling that meets your particular needs. I will not give advice but will help you develop self-awareness of your own inner resources so you feel more able to cope with life's challenges.
Over the past 10 years I have worked in a residential alcohol and drug project and also at Barnsley Mind, supporting clients to address a range of issues. I work within the ethical framework of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), have regular supervision and engage in continuing professional development. I also possess an enhanced DBS certificate.
