Catherine Barrett Adv Dip Couns: Registered MBACP
Do you find yourself at a crossroads in your life right now, not knowing which way to turn? I offer a fresh and modern approach to counselling. I provide a safe, confidential, non-judgemental and emotionally supportive therapeutic relationship where you can come and explore your emotions, difficulties and 'blocks'.
Together we can explore the parts in your world where there maybe fear, misunderstanding or judgement, ultimately resulting in a solution to these issues enabling you to move forward to a happier and more fulfilling life.
I am an Integrative Counsellor, which means, I am trained in several theories which can be drawn upon to personalise our sessions when necessary.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their Ethical Framework and guidelines for good practice.

My fees are £40 per hour, but I do offer concessions for carers, students and people on low income.
Our relationship is of the utmost importance to me and so I feel it important to offer an introductory session at just £10 for 30 minutes to ascertain whether WE both feel we can work together.
Sessions are usually 1 hour per week, but this may vary to suit the needs of the individual. Therapy can be short or long term, but again, that depends on the needs of the individual.
