About me

Hi, I am a qualified and experienced Person Centred Counsellor. and Counselling Supervisor I am a Reflective Practitioner and and am a registered Practitioner Member of COSCA. I work with a confidential, non-judgemental and respectful approach. I provide a safe environment for exploring your emotions. My Private Practice is based near Milnathort. I also work as a Counsellor to an Anti Poverty Charity who support people experiencing Poverty and/in Recovery from Addiction and are experiencing Mental Health difficulties in the Perth, Kinross and Fife area. I have previously set up a Counselling service within Edinburgh Women's Aid. I have also worked extensively in an Emotional and Therapeutic role with a Self Harm Project within a Mental Health charity in Fife, working to promote Recovery in Mental Health.
I work with a wide range of emotional disturbance with people from all walks of life and believe that the understanding of causes of our emotional discomfort can lead us to gain balance enabling us to grow for positive change.

Training, qualifications & experience

Postgraduate Diploma in Person Centred Counselling.
 Over 20 years experience in Mental Health support services. COSCA qualified Counselling Supervisor.

Work Counselling with Women's Aid, Homelessness and Addictions services in Edinburgh and Fife and in Private Practice.

Currently working in Perth and Kinross and also Fife. Work with Anxiety, Depression and Self Harm, impact of Trauma

Ongoing and extensive CPD attendance/training.

I am currently working towards my Accreditation.

I am a qualified Supervisor.

I aim to enable access for all, and am able to arrange home visits for those of you who have physical disabilities or experience social phobias. I also able to arrange Therapy sessions in a local venue with Disabled access and on bus routes. I will also do home visits in order to increase access if required.
