I run a group therapy practice in Earls Court, two minutes from the tube, and I work as a psychodynamic psychotherapist with adults.
Training, qualifications & experience
I understand that life can feel very difficult sometimes and that it helps to be able to share this with someone impartial. As a registered psychotherapist in private practice and the NHS I work with issues such as relationship difficulties, bereavement, suicidal thoughts, social phobias, abuse and loss of meaning.
You may be feeling that you would like to enjoy life more or perhaps find a greater sense of meaning. This could include more meaningful relationships and also a stronger sense of your own potential. Therapy involves listening very carefully to problems and thinking about the underlying causes – especially as they relate to the past.
I trained at WPF in London, one of the UK’s leading training organisations for psychodynamic psychotherapy, and I abide by the BACP code of ethics. Prior to this I worked in radio and print journalism, andI have published two books.
I have also worked in different NHS Trusts with people who have long-term and complex mental health needs and I have extensive experience in the voluntary sector, including the Samaritans.
Alongside psychotherapy I am trained in Spiritual Direction and work with people from various backgrounds who are interested in developing their spirituality.
I am a registered member of BACP, BPC and FPC, (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, British Psychoanalytic Council and Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling).
