I am a family therapist based in Weybridge and I have 25 years experience of working with children, young people and their families and also couples in the UK, Egypt, Thailand and the USA.
Family life isn't easy and all kinds of issues such as anxiety, depression (including post-natal), divorce, cancer/illness, bereavement and moving home or country can make life more stressful.
Family therapy can help family members to explore and talk about difficult thoughts and feelings in a safe and supportive environment. It can enable families to appreciate each others' view point and strengths and bring about a positive change while also strengthening relationships.
I can offer individual appointments with children and adults or with other family members. Sometimes a combination of individual and family appointments can be helpful but this will be in agreement with you.
The interval between sessions is generally 2-3 weeks to allow time for change to occur.
During our first meeting we will explore and clarify the reasons for seeking support and make a plan for our future work together.
I am based very near to the centre of Weybridge with plenty of parking.
