I have held an honorary role as Bereavement Counsellor to Maternity at St.Mary's Hospital (NHS Imperial Trust) since Feb 2013, and work with bereaved women, couples and families that have suffered an neonatal loss or a stillbirth. I now work as the counsellor to Paediatrics at St.Mary's Hospital and am based on PICU.I run weekly parent groups facilitating group support to parents who have a child on the unit.
I have worked therapeutically with IAPT clients referred to West London Centre for Counselling, providing
short term therapy of up to twelve weeks. I work with many mental issues such as depression, panic attacks,
anxiety, relationship issues, alcoholism, bereavement and loss.
I work in private practice from counselling rooms and my private rooms in West London.

Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Bsc science degree in Psychology and have completed the Post Graduate Diploma/MA at Regent's university and then went on to the Advanced Diploma in Existential Therapy in 2014.
I am now full accredited with both the BACP and UKCP and work to their ethical guidelines

I have worked at the West London Centre for Counselling seeing IAPT referred clients for anxiety and depression for short term therapy.I previously worked at MIND in Hammersmith and Fulham for two years working with long term clients. I hold an honorary contract as the Bereavement counsellor to Maternity and see women and couples referred from both Queen Charlotte's and St.Mary's hospital in my private practice. I specialise in traumatic delivery,miscarriages termination and neonatal loss and stillbirth .I am completing a Qualitative MA research dissertation on how woman make meaning of a neonatal loss or stillbirth.
I now work at Imperial NHS trust as counsellor to paediatrics at St.Mary's hospital seeing bereaved families after the death of a child . I have set up and facilitate a parental group for those parents and families on PICU to find support from other parents whilst their child is on the unit.

Other areas of counselling I deal with
During my work experience, I specialised in couple work with adults who have experienced a stillbirth or the death of a child.
I also work with forms of loss that we all experience, such as bereavement, divorce, redundancy, menopause and children leaving home.

I charge £60 per session and each session is fifty minutes long.
I can make special financial concessions by mutual agreement.
The counselling rooms do not have wheelchair access but arrangements can be made to meet in
a room that is wheelchair friendly.
