About me

Hello, my name is Caroline Jukes and I'm a Registered BACP Accredited counsellor. I've been helping clients since 2002 with a variety of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship worries, bereavement, alcohol problems, emotional, physical & sexual abuse and much more.

This is my eighth year of Accreditation and according to the BACP(British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists), 'Accreditation offers kite-mark status for individual practitioners...who are able to demonstrate that they are meeting a wide range of criteria, set to recognise high standards of knowledge, experience and development.'

Although my therapeutic background is predominantly humanistic I use an eclectic approach, utilising techniques taken from a variety of therapeutic models, in order to suit individual clients' needs. CBT is amongst the models I regularly use.

My counselling room is ideally situated in the garden of my home, overlooking the beautiful Worcestershire countryside. My clients comment that they appreciate the tranquillity of the environment as they feel it enhances the therapeutic process.

The location is easily accessible from a main road and parking is available.
Clover Cottage Counselling is between 10-15 minutes from Worcester, Kidderminster, Droitwich and Stourport-on-severn; Bewdley is about 25 minutes away.

Wherever possible, I offer sessions at a convenient time for you, including evenings and weekends.

'I just feel I want to let you know how grateful I am for the counselling you provide and how bloody good you are at your job!!
I finally think I understand and can "feel" what I have read in a million personal development books. My demons are powerful, but that power is mine. With continued guidance I hope to focus that power to great greatness.
I just wanted you to know that you really are good at what you do, thank you.' (2016)

'Thank you so much for all your help and encouragement to think differently about things.' (2016)

She is an accredited counsellor with BACP and adheres closely to a code of conduct /ethics. Other areas of counselling I deal with

These are just some of the areas of counselling I deal with-it is difficult to give a definitive list without excluding something.
If your own concern does not feature on this list, please contact me so that we can discuss how I can be of help to you.

Most people feel apprehensive about coming to counselling and as it is important that you should feel comfortable talking to me, our initial consultation will last 90 minutes ; this gives us an opportunity to see how I can best be of help and the chance to see if I am the right counsellor for you.

Individual counselling
Initial session of 90 minutes at a cost of £65
All further sessions (50 minutes) will be £50/session

Couples Counselling
Initial session of 90 minutes at a cost of £75
All further sessions (50 minutes) will be £60/ session

£50/session (90 minutes)

Cancellations should be made 24 hours in advance in order to avoid fee payment.

Payment is preferred at the end of each session by cash or cheque.

Further information

Counselling sessions are usually weekly and last for 50 minutes.

At our first appointment we'll talk about what it is you would like to gain from counselling and agree to how many times we are going to meet. I aim to book several appointments ahead so that sessions can be put into busy diaries. I will try to accommodate requests for evening and weekend appointments wherever possible.

Together with you, I will review our work at every sixth session. This gives us both an opportunity to feed back how we feel the process is going.

Counselling is a way of enabling choice or change or of reducing confusion.  It does not involve giving advice or directing a client to take a particular course of action.
