I am a Registered Clinical Psychologist who offers assessment and treatment to people who experience psychological distress and mental health difficulties.
I have experience of working with a variety of presentations including anxiety, general anxiety disorder, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, bereavement, depression, PTSD, psychosis, eating disorders, OCD, chronic pain, emotional intensity, and so on.
I integrate evidence-based psychological models and I have a preference for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness based techniques.
I am passionate about offering psychological support to people of all ages and generally work with older adolescents to adults. I am warm, compassionate and nonjudgmental. Creating a confidential, safe space is an important part of my practice.
I have clinic space in both Brighton and Lewes.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have over 10 years of experience of supporting people with emotional, behavioural and relationship difficulties. I have worked with both children and adults.
I have worked in general mental health settings and I have had the opportunity to work in various specialist clinics including an eating disorder service, a personality disorder service, a PTSD clinic, a long-term pain service, a learning disabilities service, Occupational Health and an Early Intervention in Psychosis service.
I am experienced in offering high quality training and consultancy around psychological wellbeing.
I am currently employed by the NHS and I have worked for the University of Sussex.
I am registered with the HCPC and have full indemnity insurance.
