About me

As a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist I create a reliable, impartial and empathic space for the exploration of difficult thoughts and feelings.

The relationship between the therapist and the client is key in psychodynamic therapy, so that conscious and unconscious patterns in the client's behaviour and mind can be identified, understood and worked through in a safe, trusted setting.

The insight that develops can help to bring about long-lasting improvements in emotional well-being, more meaningful relationships and a change in recurring behaviours or symptoms, such as relationship problems, depression, anxiety disorders or insomnia.

Issues we can address in therapy include (but are not limited to):
- Depression or unhappiness
- Anxiety and anxiety disorders
- Relationship issues
- Eating disorders
- Coping with physical health problems
- Trauma
- Bereavement
- A feeling that something just isn't quite right
- Simply wanting to make a change
- Stress
- Struggles with anger and anger-management
- Issues related to identity, sexuality or gender
- Difficulty taking decisions
- Procrastination
- Insomnia
- Phobias
