People come to counselling for many reasons, you may have a crisis in your life, or you may have problems with your feelings or relationships. You may feel that something is not right in your life, or you may have had problems in your childhood. You may suffer from anxiety or depression. More than a quarter of the UK population have had counselling.
I work as a Humanistic counsellor, which means that I believe clients have the potential for growth and resolution within them. Together, we will explore your concerns, or whatever arises for you during the sessions.Counselling can help you to unlock your feelings and see things more clearly. Working with a non-judgemental, professional counsellor, can help you move forward towards a better life. You may feel less confused, make changes in your life, or come to terms with things that cannot be changed.
Counselling can seem daunting for some people, and for others it may bring a sense of relief that they are finally tackling their problems. However you feel, I will treat you with empathy and respect..
I became a counsellor because I want to help people, and have been counselling for a number of years. I have helped to improve the lives of people, during that time.
