We are pleased to introduce this confidential service, which now runs alongside our core services. A very brief description of this service follows, but for more detailed information we would ask you to contact our office during opening hours, or our counsellor, who is available on Mondays at this time.
Counselling offers a safe and supportive environment, in which you can talk through issues/feelings that cause you difficulty or concern.
Counselling can help you to make sense of your feelings, make changes in your life or come to terms with what can’t be changed. You can expect to see a counsellor who will listen and accept you, the counsellor will not judge you or tell you what to do, but they will support you while you work through difficulties yourself, enabling you to make choices and decisions that feel right for you.
This service can be accessed by arranging an appointment, it is offered free of charge to all of our clients. You may wish to visit your G.P. or Health Visitor who can refer you to us, or you may want to make an appointment directly with us.
