It can be difficult deciding to come to counselling and then choosing the right counsellor, so if you have any questions after reading my profile, please contact me by phone, text or email.
People often come to counselling for many reasons such as feeling stuck, confused, worried, angry, stressed, bereaved, or with issues surrounding addictions and trauma, counselling can help to overcome emotional disturbance, reduce confusion and support personal growth or change. Counselling can lead to increased well being, confidence, a greater understanding of difficulties and relationships, assertiveness, self-awareness, motivation and acceptance of difficult situations such as loss and change.
Whatever your reason for thinking of counselling please feel assured that you will be in an environment that is safe, professional, confidential, non-judgmental and supportive. I am an experienced therapist and CBT practitioner working in line with ethical guidelines. I am a full member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and I adhere to their code of ethics, qualities and values. I am fully insured and hold an enhanced CRB certificate.

I can answer any questions you might have and you can decide if counselling is right for you at this time and indeed if I am the right counsellor to help. There is no obligation to continue. I am a married mum with two children, I was introduced to counselling due to personal circumstances and after experiencing its benefits and support I was inspired to train as a counsellor. I am passionate about supporting positive change to enhance a person's way of thinking and experiencing life to ultimately improve mental well being
Since training for four years to become qualified, I have gained considerable experience many fields of counselling and in a variety of settings along with private practice.
