Camille de Beausse, BA (Hons) MBACP Registered
I am a fully qualified integrative-relational counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I have a private practice in the Surbiton area where I offer short term and open-ended therapy for individuals (16 and over).
My aim is to offer emotional support in a safe and confidential environment, where you can share your worries and concerns and explore ways you wish to change. I use a range of therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs and believe that the quality of the relationship between counsellor and client is at the heart of the healing process.
How I work
As an integrative-relational therapist, I use several theoretical approaches belonging to the Humanistic and Psychodynamic perspectives, as well as Cognitive Behavioural techniques to help you identify your problems and find new ways to move on. I believe that sometimes the pain we experience in our present lives originates from our past, keeping us from moving on. Through a collaborative and positive relationship, we can engage in a process of linking difficulties in the present with past events or important relationships in our lives. Gaining insights into aspects of the previously unknown self, in a supportive and caring environment can enable personal growth and the healing process to take place.
I am a French national who has been established in the UK for many years and I work both in English and French.
