Camilla Vasudeva, BACP, Dip. Couns.
I am an Integrative Counsellor and offer long and short term counselling in Cambridge. Having trained in a number of approaches, I draw upon appropriate techniques and tools to suit each individual clients’ needs. I work intuitively, sensitively and creatively; providing my clients with a secure, warm and confidential space in which they can explore difficult feelings and emotions without fear of being judged or of saying the wrong thing.
I believe that everyone has, within themselves, the potential and strength to move beyond painful experiences and patterns. By building a trusting and empowering relationship with my clients I aim to enable them to take those first steps and more, towards a new perspective and a sense of renewal.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), abiding by their codes of conduct and ethical framework.
I also hold a Bachelors Degree in Art and Design and have completed a number of courses in Art Psychotherapy. In my experience, I have found that the creative arts can be a valuable way for clients to discover their own ways for free expression when sometimes words may feel too overwhelming.
In order to further my training and knowledge and provide the best practice for my clients, I regularly participate in continuous professional development and counselling supervision.
