Training, qualifications & experience
Our Lead Clinicians
My clinical training was within the NHS where I worked for many years as a Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Supervisor and Registered Nurse. I now work at the University of Cambridge providing counselling and psychotherapy interventions, training, supervision and consultancy to members of a College and I also provide clinical supervision to senior healthcare professionals at a large local NHS trust. I am a registered member of the British Psychoanalytic Council and also registered & accredited with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy. I maintain my Registered Nurse status with the Nursing & Midwifery Council.
I am a Registered Nurse in Mental Health and an Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, accredited through the Nursing and Midwifery Council and the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists. I am employed by a College within the University of Cambridge and have worked in Higher Education and the NHS since 1990. I offer support to those experiencing mental health and emotional difficulties and encourage emotional health and wellbeing in day to day life.
