Profile
I offer compassionate and responsive therapy in my practice near the station in York. My approach is dynamic and exploratory, drawing on humanistic, interpersonal and psychodynamic approaches within a relational framework.
Therapy can help you to explore thoughts and feelings and consider alternatives. You may be suffering from specific symptoms or problems such as low self esteem, anxiety or depression or be generally confused about what you are feeling. You may be worried about how you get on with people or feel disconnected or isolated. By looking at your current situation and sometimes past experience and helping you with your feelings and ways of thinking (including about the therapy relationship), you may come to see yourself and your problems differently.
I work long term and short term; with specific issues as well as with feelings that are hard to define; with individuals, couples and groups.
