Training, qualifications & experience
The counsellors at Breathing Space are trained to post-graduate level which is accredited by the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
Our combined counselling experience includes an NHS Primary Care Trust, NHS Medical Practice, hospice, primary and secondary schools as well as private practice.
All of our counsellors are members of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and fully adhere to its code of ethics.

Expense can be major factor when considering counselling. We are committed to making our service as accessible as possible and keep our rates reasonable.
Fees are £35 per session and concessions are available for students and those on low income.
Breathing Space is based in Medway and Welling, Kent. Parking is available at both sites and the premises in Medway has full disabled access and facilities.
We are able to offer counselling to adults, children and young people.
Appointments can normally be arranged at fairly short notice. We are available during the week, including evenings and Saturday morning.
