Lyn Hooper MA. DipCounse. DipHe. DipSw
Are you experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, relationship problems or just feeling unable to cope. Sometimes a couple of sessions are enough to help gain control and enjoy life again. If your problems are more complex, you may benefit from more in-depth therapy over several sessions.
Counselling offers you the opportunity to talk through your worries or deeper issues with someone who is understanding and impartial, and will not judge you.
I am a qualified counsellor with 20 years experience in many different areas including sexual abuse, addictions, bereavement, anxiety and depression, and relationship issues.
My approach is a combination CBT and Mindfulness within a Person Centred, Holistic approach, adapted to suit you.
I also offer supervision to qualified counsellors.
One-off sessions are available to help deal with specific issues e.g.. mediation following a relationship break-up. These may be for more than 1 hour.
