Originally from Germany, I have been living in Northern Ireland since 1980. Alongside working in the community and voluntary sector since 1999, I have developed my private practice providing short and long-term individual and group psychotherapy, individual and group supervision, workshops, a monthly psychodrama group, and weekend residentials. Having trained in psychodrama psychotherapy, my approach is humanistic integrative with an emphasis on creativity. Within a transpersonal framework I am drawing on symbolism, art, action methods and role for exploration, change and healing in issues that life presents to all of us in different ways. My special interests are: trauma, depression, loss and attachment issues, bereavement, and relationship challenges.

My clinical practice has evolved since 1999, providing individual and group therapy in the community, statutory and private sector as well as supervision.

I am currently working as a manager for a community counselling agency and have a small private practice. I also provide psychotherapy for an EAP agency and offer training workshops on the use of action methods on the Lifelong Learning Programme at Queens University Belfast.
