About me

I am a Qualified Clinical Psychologist who has worked in the NHS for over 20 years and completed my Clinical Doctorate in 2008.

I offer a comprehensive assessment prior to offering therapy drawing on various Psychological approaches ultimately working towards a positive change.

I work in an integrative way and tailor the therapy to the client’s needs. The therapies I use are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Compassion Focussed Therapy, Mindfulness, and Personal Construct Therapy.

I am accredited through the British Psychological Society and I am a registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council.

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
