Hi, well you made it this far and I know that checking out this site can feel like a huge step!
Who Am I?
I'm Beverley and I believe that one size of therapy doesn't fit all because every person is different. I'm qualified to use many theories, T.A, Gestalt, Person Centered and I will also use CBT sometimes depending on your needs; if you don't like it we won't use it, no problem,I am after all here to work with you and your needs come first.
Everyone has the potential to change their lives and whilst I won't tell you what to do I will help you find your way in a totally non judgmental atmosphere, believe me, nothing can shock me!
My background is in the creative arena, Acting, Writing, Presenting etc so I bring with me a wealth of experience to do with anxiety, panic attacks, rejection, fear, depression, as well as bereavement, family issues and relationship issues, like affairs or betrayal, sexual or communication issues etc. I also counsel in the LGBTQ community, including transgender and transitioning and I work with couples as well as troubled teens having had two myself!
Online or telephone counselling is also an available option for you if you can't get to me and in very special cases I will travel to you.
Text or email me to set up an initial session; we'll talk about what you want to get out of counselling; if you're happy to continue we'll set up a second session, and from then weekly/fortnightly depending on your needs.
I'm very open and friendly and confidentiality is assured at all times.
I work in three locations, Ramsgate, Weybridge and Broadstairs so am easily accessible.
