The Beaumaris Wellbeing Centre offers a welcoming atmosphere within modern and well-equipped facilities. Our dedicated and supportive team offer a range of evidence-based therapies, psychological approaches and interventions to address most behavioural, emotional and psychological problems. Whether you are simply looking for more insight into yourself and who you are, or, alternatively, struggling to deal with long-term and complex mental health issues, we can offer you a service according to your needs.
We provide counselling, psychological therapy and assessment for a wide range of psychological, emotional and behavioural problems. Therapy can be as individuals, couples or families.
Treated problems include: depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, medically unexplained symptoms, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic fatigue, relationship problems, obsessive-compulsive disorders, self-harm, drug and alcohol use, emotional instability, personality issues.
Therapies available include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), mindfulness-based therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and person-centred counselling.
Other health, care and support services are also available within our group for individuals or families.
Training, qualifications & experience
All our therapists are appropriately trained and professionally registered with one or more of either the HCPC, the BPS, the BABCP or the BCP. They also receive regular clinical supervision and peer supervision from qualified colleagues.
We are 'approved providers' with all major health insurance companies.
We are made up from professionals in Clinical Psychology, Counselling, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Nursing and Occupational Therapy.

Counselling fees start at £36 per 50 minute session.
CBT and EMDR are £55 per 50 minute session.
Clinical Psychology assessment and psychotherapy sessions are £80 per hour and £30 for each additional 30 minutes.
There are no additional fees for evening or weekend appointments and no hidden charges/extra charges.
Interest-free payment plans are also available depending on circumstances.
