Hello and a very warm welcome to my profile. Thank you for taking time out to read about the service I can provide for you.
For anyone who may be experiencing feelings that they just don't understand please reach out. I can help you start your journey to clarity and peace.
I offer one to one, face to face, collaborative counselling sessions to young people and adults. I provide a safe, warm and calm space from my home in Chester le Street but I also have access to alternative venues depending on where you live, to help keep your travelling time to a minimum.
I think it is important to offer a free 50 minute consultation appointment so we can talk together about our contract, fee structure, confidentiality and other boundaries that we will decide together. During this time it also gives you a chance to feel confident if I can support you, which is very important. A strong therapeutic relationship will always contribute to the best client outcome.
Although I am person-centred trained and qualified I often integrate a wide range of techniques, experiments and resources, with your permission, if I think it will challenge you. I normally suggest 10 weekly sessions with a review after 5, each session lasts 50 minutes.
I follow BACP ethical guidelines and good practice. I also maintain high levels of professional and personal development and have supervision monthly.
I appreciate it may be nerve racking or different for some people to reach out and ask for support, but most of my clients say it is the best thing they have ever done. Please contact me in what ever way is best for you and I will always get back to you asap.
I look forward to hearing from you soon
Warmest wishes ;)
