My counselling approach is based on creating a relaxed, supportive and non-judgemental environment and I try to tailor my therapeutic style to fit your individual needs. I always keep what you want at the heart of the work. You will be in a confidential setting where you can explore your feelings safely. We will work together at your pace and establish what is important for you. The focus of counselling can link your past experiences with your present situation and looks at the possible impact on the future and It may lead to changes in how you see yourself, your situation and your relationship with others. This helps you to understand yourself more and to take greater control of your life. It is often found that understanding ourselves helps us to understand and accept ourselves and others in a better way. Whatever the issue, there will be a way to talk about it in counselling. It provides an open, safe space where difficult situations and memories can be managed and worked through.
