About me

I am only able to offer Online sessions via Zoom, email and phone counselling sessions at the moment.

As a counsellor my aim is to provide you with a safe place to talk about you and your feelings, with the knowledge that I will not judge you, or think your problem is insignificant.

During our session, I will listen to what you have to say and try to help you understand your feelings and emotions and explore what is driving the reason you have come for counselling.

I offer an integrated approach to counselling as I believe that one size doesn't fit all. We are all individuals and deserve a unique approach that allows you, the client, to achieve your goal.

I am a caring, non judgemental person who is easy to talk to and have over 10 years experience working in the social care field and helping individuals to make changes in their life that are meaningful to them.

I have worked with people on issues that vary widely from anxiety, depression to addictions and abuse. All clients are welcome. I have an interest and lived experience in working with women who are peri/menopausal and clients whom identify as being neurodiverse.

I provide a private, welcoming environment and provide a trusting, therapeutic relationship to enable you to work through your difficulties. I will support you and work together with you to assist you to find a way to increase your self esteem and empower you to improve your ability to deal with difficulties in your life.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
