Counselling is a place where we can explore, understand and work together through problems and difficult emotions that you may be struggling with. I aim to provide a confidential, non-judgemental and supportive environment in which to do this.
I have trained to work with an integrating method, which allows me to draw upon a range of therapeutic approaches and techniques to suit individual needs and personal circumstance.
Counselling can help with a variety of issues, including:
- Anxiety, depression and stress
- Bereavement or loss
- Low self-esteem
- Relationship difficulties
- Surviving trauma or abuse
I enjoy working with clients from all walks of life, regardless of religion, cultural background, sexual orientation or gender identity.
Training, qualifications & experience
- Post Graduate Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
- Certificate in Counselling Skills
I have worked with adults, young people and children in a variety of organisations, including North Kent MIND and local schools.
I am committed to undertaking regular supervision and practising within the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) ethical framework.

It is important that you find a counsellor you feel you can work with. This is why I offer a £10 50 minute initial session, for us to meet face-to-face and for you to be able to ask any questions.
In this time I will also ask questions to gain background information about your situation and to ensure I am the best counsellor for you to work with.
£10 for 50 minute initial session
£35 thereafter per 50 minute session
£30 for students or trainee counsellors
Children and Teenagers (up to 16 years)
For child and teenage clients, I first meet with parents or carers before any therapy begins. This meeting allows me to collect information about the child, for the therapy process to be explained and for me to answer any questions you may have.
£10 Initial parent/carer meeting (50 minutes)
£35 Counselling session (30-50 minutes)
