I am an experienced warm empathic practitioner who will work with you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and how to manage difficulties you may be facing.
Counselling enhances self-awareness and from that the opportunity to allow new possibilities to emerge and changes to take place leading to a happier and more fulfilling life.
As a Registered MBACP Counsellor, I am professionally trained to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to explore what is important to you.
I am Integratively trained, which means I use the most appropriate counselling skills to suit client’s individual needs.
Issues I frequently work with include depression, anxiety, stress, bereavement, loss, grief relationship problems and changes due to health and wellbeing. I also work with life transition for a range of situations related to change which include parenting, getting ready for University, relocation to a new area, career or work situations.
When dealing with complex distressing issues in life they can be difficult to express to friends and family; our work will help you move towards accepting and supporting yourself without fear of judgement.
I have worked professionally in GP Practices, Hospitals and Community Health settings as counsellor, coach, clinician and clinical supervisor. I currently manage counselling sessions at a Hospice as well as facilitate Cancer Support Groups for women with secondary breast cancer.
My Calm Studio is based in Mid Devon between Cullompton and Exeter. I am also easily accessible via Tiverton, Honiton, Pinhoe, Broadclyst here in Devon and Taunton in Somerset.
