Profile
I qualified as a counsellor in 1995 and am MBACP(Snr Accred). I work both long and short term with individuals, couples and organisations.
My experience has been varied, working in GP practice, hospital settings and the workplace.
My premises are close to the city centre/west end, with good transport links and street parking.
Why come to counselling?
Most people at some time in their lives experience difficulties/problems and on occasions, feel trapped or unable to cope. At these times, it is not always easy or possible to speak to family or friends.
As a counsellor, I hope to offer clients a safe therapeutic space enabling them to express their emotions, explore the difficulty and look at the options/choices available.
For some people this can be a difficult process, and some clients can find it quite distressing. Most find it ultimately very beneficial, and many find that they have explored aspects of themselves that have previously gone unchallenged.
