Profile

Community Counselling Practitioner and Chairperson of Access Counselling NI. I provide Counselling,Counselling Supervision and a FREE Counselling for Carers service, this service includes parents of chronically sick and disabled children & young carers.

I operate a Student Support Programme offering Personal Therapy, Supervision & Training and Volunteer Opportunities for qualified non-accredited Counsellors working toward accreditation with BACP.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I am a qualified Social Worker with a background in Mental Health & Training. A member of BASW and Registered with NISCC. I have completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Therapeutic Communication at the University of Ulster including a Certificate in Critical Incident Stress Management and several short courses including Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Therapeutic Supervision. 

I have approximately 15 years experience as a Counsellor and 6 years as a Supervisor.
