Profile
I am a BACP Accredited counsellor with over 15 years experience practicing in North Essex. I offer individual face to face counselling on a short or long term basis and supervision for individuals and groups.
My counselling style is humanistic integrative, which reflects my belief that each person is unique and that given the right conditions has the potential to grow and move forward in their own way. I provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space in which individuals can share and explore present and past experiences, express thoughts and feelings and gain personal awareness.
I endeavour to build a therapeutic relationship and work with individuals in a way that meets their current needs and have a range of therapeutic approaches and skills to offer.

Training, Qualifications & Experience
I have developed my counselling practice over 15 years and have experience of private practice, employee assistance schemes, voluntary sector and the NHS.
My therapeutic training was initially humanistic integrative. I have continued to develop my practice and development by training in Psychosynthesis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Hypnotherapy.
I have undertaken specific professional training to work with cancer, trauma, obesity, stress, bereavement and sexual and gender minority groups.
My qualifications include:
Bsc Hons Counselling and Education
Diploma Post Traumatic Stress Counselling
Professional Development in Psychosynthesis
I have particular experience and interest in working with individuals living with asperger's syndrome, agoraphobia and attachment issues.
