We all have times in our lives when things are difficult, or something is causing us concern or distress. Sometimes it can help to talk, in confidence, to someone professional and experienced, who won't make judgements, but will listen, understand and accept us as we are.  This can enable us to  begin to see things differently,  to become more accepting of ourselves and to feel better able to cope and be in charge of our lives. It may also bring us more energy and a greater sense of well being.

I aim to offer a safe and accepting place where you can work on whatever brings you.

I work long term and short term, to suit you.  

I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist with 15 years experience.

BA (hons) University of Sussex

Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling (BACP Accred), University of Strathclyde 1997.
Certificate in Counselling Supervision, PCT Scotland 2001.


Certificate in Coaching, Coaching Development, London 2008.

I  have worked as a University counsellor, in a GP practice, for voluntary organisations, and I also do EAP workplace counselling.  I was a Trainer on the Diploma in Counselling, and COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills, University of Aberdeen.
  I have been working privately as a counsellor, psychotherapist, and supervisor for the last 12 years. 
I also work as a Coach.
