Anna Peacock MBACP
Life is not always straight forward; old hurts can haunt us, new situations can be overwhelming. No matter how much support we may have from friends or family some things are too hard to share, too big to keep inside and too painful to live with or bear alone.
Seeking help can be very daunting especially when uncomfortable or unknown feelings are surfacing. As a person-centred counsellor I aim to offer a welcoming environment where you can come for confidential and non-judgmental support. I do not give advice but instead provide the opportunity to explore these unwanted feelings together. I also have experience of working creatively which can offer an alternative to talking when words are not enough or do not come easily.
I have worked with adults and young people and believe everyone is unique with different expectations and needs. My way of working is adaptable and is lead by the relationship built up between myself and my client.
