About me
I am a fully qualified Clinical Psychologist and specialist sex therapist working in the NHS in a Gender Dysphoria Clinic.
We meet in a comfortable and confidential setting where you will feel relaxed and supported to be able to think about the difficulties that you are having.
I have a background in working with people who have experienced trauma and interpersonal problems which cause them difficulties in day to day life. I often work successfully with people who have problems that they feel are long term, 'untreatable' or who have had therapy before.
In addition to these broader difficulties I also offer help to people experiencing sexual difficulties.

Training, qualifications & experience
I have completed a doctorate in clinical psychology and am a trained psychosexual therapist. I have over 15 years of experience working in the NHS.
My practice is regulated by the Health Professions Council and the College Of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.
Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

I offer the first consultation for free, by telephone, so that we can decide together whether or not therapy is right for you.
This usually lasts about 30 minutes. You can message me from this listing and if I have availability I will contact you. Please note that I have very limited availability currently.
If we decide to continue into therapy then subsequent 50 minute sessions cost £100.
