Appetite For Wellbeing
Pendle Business Centre
I am a person-centred counsellor offering counselling sessions in a Nelson town-centre location.
Counselling is the opportunity to speak to someone about whatever issue is important to you. There are many reasons that you may be seeking counselling; it may be because of difficult life events or experiences, because of feelings that are overwhelming, or because of feeling lost in the direction of your life. Counselling can give the chance for something to change.
I aim to provide a space where you can be yourself. I will work with you to develop a trusting relationship in which you can share and explore your experiences, thoughts and feelings. I am not there to judge you, 'fix' you or to tell you what to do, but I will listen to you and aim to understand your experience from your point of view. I hope that this can give you the space you need to explore anything that is important to you and help you to see things more clearly to find your own way forwards.

Counselling can feel daunting to begin with or might be a big step. If you have questions or would like more information please feel free to phone me on the number above or email me via the link provided.
If you would like to meet for a conversation to discuss the way that I work with clients and talk a little about what has brought you to counselling, we can arrange a half hour or hour session; whichever you would prefer. It is then up to you whether you would like to attend further sessions - there is no obligation to commit to a set number of sessions.
