About me

Sessions via Face to Face or Zoom

I work with individuals and couples.

Some of the issues I work with are:

Depression

Anxiety and Stress

Fears and Phobias

Relationships - getting keeping and ending  and couples counselling

Work place issues

Self image and self esteem

Psychosexual issues

Bereavement

PTSD

Narcissistic Abuse

I offer a completely confidential and understanding approach to your issues. You can be completely comfortable talking about your problems, whatever they are. I have wide experience of supporting people to work through their issues and achieve their goals. My practice is based in Birchwood, Warrington, easily accessed from M62 M6 and by train or bus, where I can offer you a comfortable space to explore and resolve your issues. Free parking is available for clients. The therapy room is up one step and may not suitable for disabled clients. Please let me know if you have mobility problems and alternative arrangements can be made.

I work in a client centred, flexible way. We agree your desired outcome first and then plan sessions to meet that outcome. There is no one size fits all approach with me. Sessions length and frequency are determined by you and what you wish to achieve, not my schedule. I work face to face and by Zoom,  I make home visits if you choose that option, at extra cost.

So get in touch now! Phone, text or email as you prefer.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am accredited with the Neurolinguistic Psychotherapy and Counselling Association (NLPtCA) , Registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and accredited by the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). I am trained in NLP Therapy, TA, Couples counselling, CBT and Transpersonal Approaches.
I have many years experience helping people to meet their goals and reach their desired outcome.

I also believe that reflected upon life experience is important in becoming an effective therapist and I have experienced most human situations and dilemmas myself and learned from that. You will find me able to understand and empathise whatever your need.

UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
