Highbury Counselling Centre
28 Highbury Grove
I offer a respectful and confidential space in which to explore your life and talk about your current concerns. I will not give advice or judge you, but listen carefully and attempt, through my questions and reflections, to help you make sense of your problems and identify opportunities for change.
As an integrative counsellor, I do not adhere to any one theory, but have been trained in a range of theories and approaches. In practical terms, this means that I see each client as an individual and do not have a rigid way of working.
You may be seeking counselling because of a recent event that has changed things in your personal life. You may want to explore something that has happened in the past, or may feel stuck or dissatisfied in the present.
Whatever your reason for seeking counselling, it offers you the opportunity to discuss your concerns in a safe, confidential setting. As a trained and experienced professional, I will listen to you carefully, ask questions, make observations and help you explore your situation without judgement or shame. It is not about giving advice, but, rather, identifying a way for you to move forward with your life in the way that you want to.
I have experience of working on a short and long-term basis with a variety of clients.
