Angela Price, Dip Con, MBACP, Bereavement Counselling
Welcome, my name is Angela.
I offer psychotherapeutic counselling for a wide range of issues including the repercussions of childhood trauma, life transitions, fear of change, addictions (financial, alcohol and eating disorders) hoarding and co-dependent or abusive relationships. I have extensive experience in working with bereavement and loss.
‘Am I going mad?’. ‘If only I had called the doctor sooner.’ ‘Why did I pop out for a coffee?’ The death of someone close to you can evoke many different emotions such as bewilderment, guilt, shame, overwhelming sadness and even anger, which can be difficult to deal with on your own. You may fear burdening those around you and feel especially lonely in a society where death is denied and tidied away as quickly as possible.
As a counsellor I offer a supportive and confidential space in which to express yourself and time for your own answers to emerge.
There is no one size that fits all and so I work integratively, which simply means that we have a range of different ways of exploring what might best suit you.
As a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, I am dedicated to meeting the highest professional and ethical standards.
I offer both long-term and time-limited counselling to individuals of all ages.
