My name is Angela and I am an experienced, professional and qualified counsellor working one to one with clients on a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression and relationship issues.
I offer both short and longer term therapy, dependant on individual needs. Being an integrative counsellor, I use a combination of therapeutic approaches to best suit you.
I believe in the importance of providing a warm, non-judgemental, therapeutic relationship. It is with this support and understanding that it is possible to bring about change.
During your counselling sessions, we would explore your issues together, helping to bring meaning and understanding to difficult feelings and helping to find potential ways to create change.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work to their code of ethics and good practice.
I can offer counselling from home in New Barnet /Cockfosters. My nearest tube station is Cockfosters (Piccadilly Line) which is within 10 minutes walk or five by bus.
I also have a counselling room in Winchmore Hill, with free parking on surrounding streets. Grange Park Railway Station is 13 minutes away and the bus stops for routes 125, 329 and 629 are very close by.

What can you expect?
Our first session will be a 50 minute assessment. During this session you will be able to discuss the issues you are experiencing, I may ask you some questions that will help me to assess your counselling needs and whether counselling can help you. This initial session gives us the opportunity to meet and decide whether we can work together.
If we decide to work together, we can set up regular, weekly sessions where we can agree on the number of sessions and review dates.
Counselling will not involve any advice giving or being told what to do. I will offer you a safe, empathic, confidential space where you can explore your feelings and thoughts. together we can gain a greater understanding of yourself and your situation.
