I have been a practising therapist for 9 years. I offer short and long term work depending on a your hopes and focus for the work. In general I have successfully helped most clients within 12 sessions. This also applies for couples and psychosexual work.
I work from a humanistic integrative training background. I use many diverse teachings and take in an depth assessment to understand and what is happening for you as an individual or as a couple - and to discover what you want. I will be led by your hopes, fears, dreams, aspirations and will help you address the blocks to achieving fulfillment and self empowerment. I will offer you a true mirror and may offer challenges at times, and hope that you will equally feel able to be open and honest with me. Therapy is a co-creation and we all have to work hard!
As a mature person and having had a rich and varied life experience, I believe that there are times in our lives when things feel overwhelming. However, I passionately believe that these difficult periods offer us a great opportunity to embrace our true selves and the possible changes we can make. The reward is transition to a better and more confident being in the world for ourselves and those we love.
