Andrew McGettigan MBACP (reg) MNCS (accred)
My name is Andrew McGettigan and I am an Integrative Counsellor which means I employ various modalities in my work in order to gain the best possible outcome for the Client's needs. I offer sessions in a peaceful, comfortable and discreet location which is safe, ethical and non judgemental.
I practise within the ethical framework of both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and also the National Counselling Society.
In my earlier working life my career spanned 30 years in the Fire Service during which time I worked in a voluntary capacity with local mental health charities. This experience provided me with a significant understanding of a range of mental health issues.
Whilst I have a specialist interest in Depression and Anxiety, particularly when it emanates from the working environment, my abilities and experience is comprehensive and covers the entire spectrum of human experiences and issues.
Working as a Bereavement Counsellor for a prominent Essex based support organisation, I have a proven track record in the area of personal loss.
