I offer a safe and confidential space for people to come and explore what is concerning them. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of collaboration and courage and I support clients in exploring their inner worlds. Through this work we can learn about ourselves, change behaviors and connect with ourselves and others.
I offer short and long term one to one counselling/therapy.
I have many years experience of facilitating group therapy also, and am available for organisational group facilitation work.
To start the process I offer an initial session which is along assessment lines in order to learn about your history, your reasons for seeking counselling, your needs and hopes for the therapeutic journey. We discuss whether you are looking for short term or long-term.
If we want to continue working together we sign an initial contract agreement.

Training, qualifications & experience
I have over 7 years of clinical experience in counselling and therapy roles. I've worked extensively in the Addiction Recovery Industry both in harm min settings and abstinence based settings. Treating both process and chemical addictions. In the last couple of years I've started working more with clients presenting with PTSD and depressive disorders.
My therapeutic style is integrative and have had ongoing training and development in areas of group therapy, PTSD and bereavement. My experience has seen me work in Trauma hospitals, Addiction recovery services and for different charities including PACE which was an LGBT+ specialised charity. I continue to have ongoing supervision.
